Justice For Speedy: A True Horse Story

Longtime WRCA member Judy Clark, a former
newspaper columnist, who wrote the club
newsletter for years, has just published a book
entitled Justice for Speedy: A True Horse Story.  
Writing under her surname, Berkley, Judy
recounts her experiences in the Arabian horse
show world where she and her beloved horse,
Speedy, were ensnared by the industry’s dark
secrets. Her personal narrative, woven through
the recent history of the Arabian breed in
America, offers a blistering account of the
drugging and abusive training practices that are
corrupting the Arabian horse show world and
damaging horses. Judy also addresses the
worrisome connection between corticosteroid
injections and laminitis.
