7/27/08   Mt. Hope Pleasure Drive     (WRCA Event)
    Mt. Hope Auction Barn

    Meet at the Auction Barn, eat and drive back roads to Woodlyn Coach for a break and to view their
    business and carriage collection.  Continue on using mostly back roads or take the shorter route using
    paved County Road 77 with some traffic.  Some hills.
    Directions:  Mt. Hope is located on SR 241, 15 miles northeast of Millersburg.  From Canton I-77, take
    Exit 104, SR 30 WEST to SR 241.  Go SOUTH towards Brewster/Mt. Eaton approximately 15.5 miles
    to Mt. Hope. The Auction Barn is located on the SW corner of the village.

8/30/08 - Carslisle Reservation Labor Day Drive (WRCA Event)
Saturday!
    Carlisle Reservation is the largest of the Lorain County Metro Parks encompassing 1,820     acres   
    Beautiful trails are wide with a fine granular surface, always dry enough to drive on (Suitable for antique
    vehicles).  Note that there may be trail riders and pedestrian traffic.

    Directions: Take I-480 west to Rt. 10/20. Take Rt. 10/20 west to Rt. 301 South/ LaGrange Rd. exit.
    Turn left onto State Rt. 301 South. Drive a short distance to the second intersection on your right,
    Nickle Plate - Diagonal Rd., which is across from the red brick Carlisle Township Fire Department, and
    drive .7 mile to the Duck Pond Picnic Area entrance, which will be on your right. Drive .8 mile farther
    on Diagonal Rd. and the entrance to the Carlisle Visitor Center will also be on the right. Drive .8 mile
    farther on Diagonal Rd and the entrance to the Equestrian Center will be on your right.

September

9/14/08 - Black Swamp and WRCA Pleasure Drive (WRCA Event)
    This is the 6th year for this joint drive. Driving is on public roads so it is SMV sign on the carriage/cart
    is required. Plenty of parking, restrooms etc. Drinks will be provided. The drive will be between 4.5 and
    6.5 miles (your choice or routes) along the Sandusky river on country roads.

    Directions: From east or west, take US 224 to SR 53 just South of Tiffin. If coming from the North,
    take turnpike or US 20 to Fremont interchange, which is SR 53 and follow that until you have gone
    through Tiffin and come to US 224. Go south on SR 53 for 5.0 miles to CR 6 and go .8 miles to TR
    131. This will be the second right. You will see Camp Glen signs, plus a Walnut Grove Campground
    sign. Travel on TR 131 for 1.5 miles. Sandusky River Coon Hunters Lodge (7575 TR 131) is the big
    barn on the left.
     
9/26 - 9/28  -Fall Frolic and Arena Driving Trial (WRCA Event)

    Directions:  Take I-77 South to (Exit 44B) I-70 West  towards Columbus.  Go 53.6 miles to Exit 126,
    OH-37 towards Lancaster/Granville.  Turn RIGHT (north) onto OH-37 (Lancaster Rd, SW).  Go 5.9
    miles; park entrance is on the right.
